The Ministry of Foreign Affairs signs a cooperation agreement with ISM University of Management and Economics
On 30 July, Chancellor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Inga Černiuk and Rector of ISM University of Management and Economics Dalius Misiūnas signed a cooperation agreement between the MFA and ISM.
The Ministry seeks to revive and strengthen systematic cooperation with Lithuanian universities. “We are looking for ways to work together that will create value for both the Ministry and the University. In the field of management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, interesting challenges can be found for case studies, which would allow deeper insight into problems, viewing them from different angles and finding new ways to solve them,” said the Chancellor of the Ministry.
The Ministry plans to intensify other forms of cooperation: student internships, lectures, insights of university experts, study programmes and topics for master theses, research, exhibitions, and a mentoring programme for effective communication between diplomats and students. Closer relations between the Ministry and the University are expected to contribute to the formulation of Lithuania’s foreign policy priorities and useful exchange of knowledge.
The Ministry has already signed agreements with Mykolas Romeris University, Kaunas University of Technology and Vilnius Academy of Arts, and plans to renew agreements with other universities in the near future.
