On 7-18 November, the 41st session of the Working Group on the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council took place, marking the beginning of the 4th cycle for 14 states: Bahrain, Ecuador, Tunisia, Morocco, Indonesia, Finland, the United Kingdom, India, Algeria, Philippines, Brazil, Poland, the Netherlands and South Africa.

On September 26, the Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Ambassador Neilas Tankevičius, presented his Letters of Credence to Director-General Fernando Arias.

On 19 September, the Ambassador of Lithuania Ramūnas Davidonis presented his letters of credence to the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The 63rd General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) ended on 22 July 2022. The event, which attracted more than 900 participants, took place on 14-22 July 2022 in Geneva.

On 7 July 2022 in Vienna, at the Permanent Council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Lithuania urged Belarus not to violate OSCE commitments to ensure teaching in national minority languages. Belarus adopted new amendments of its Education Code, under which from 1st September 2022 it will no longer provide the education in Lithuanian language in Lithuanian schools in Rymdziuny and Pelesa.
