Lithuania's Foreign Minister Landsbergis to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan
On 5-7 December, Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis is paying an official visit to Astana, Kazakhstan. During the visit, Landsbergis will hold meetings with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Prime Minister Älihan Smaiylov, the Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi, and the Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament Maulen Ashimbayev.
During the visit, Lithuania's Foreign Minister and Kazakh leaders will discuss bilateral political and economic relations between Lithuania and Kazakhstan, the international situation, as well as support for Ukraine.
Landsbergis will also visit the ALZHIR museum-memorial complex and lay a wreath in honor of the victims of totalitarianism.
This year, Lithuania and Kazakhstan celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic ties.
